Grocery group joins anti-crime effort

The $28M-revenue Food Marketing Institute, which represents food retailers and wholesalers, joined the National Retail Federation and eBay in an effort to counter thieves who sell stolen goods online and elsewhere, the parties announced Sept. 27. The $30M-revenue NRF and internet company eBay created the original partnership in March.
